Hélène Lange
Head of Business Coordination
Hélène Lange holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Strategic Project Management from SKEMA Business School of Management. She began her career in Luxembourg in 2006, working in business development at Accor and Linklaters, before moving into the banking sector.
Over nearly a decade in banking, she built strong expertise across client relationship management, regulatory frameworks, operational excellence, and project delivery. She successfully led transformation projects, managed multidisciplinary teams, and developed best practices in Know Your Customer processes as Head of the KYC Centre of Expertise. Her career reflects a combination of strategic vision and hands-on execution, bridging business development, regulatory compliance, and operational performance.
In her current role as Head of Business Coordination at the ABBL, she oversees strategic alignment across teams, ensuring smooth coordination of projects and initiatives that support the association’s mission and member banks.
Anda Asaftei
Adviser - Banking and Business Intelligence
Anda Asaftei brings nearly two decades of experience in banking and finance, covering corporate and retail banking, regulatory compliance, and large-scale business transformation. At the ABBL, she focuses on industry research and strategic analysis, supporting Business Intelligence and Business clusters and coordinating working groups to align their objectives with the association’s broader mission. She contributes to delivering actionable insights that help members and stakeholders navigate an evolving financial landscape.
Simone Kayser
Senior Adviser - Retail Banking
As Senior Adviser, Simone Kayser is closely involved with the Retail Banking Cluster and its working groups, addressing technical and legal matters related to retail products and services and compiling key statistics on retail banking activities. With strong expertise in retail banking issues, she plays an active role at the European level as a member of the European Banking Federation Retail Committee, ensuring Luxembourg’s perspective is well represented in European discussions.
Jessica Thyrion
Adviser - Financial Education
Since 2015, Jessica Thyrion has served as Financial Education Adviser at the ABBL. She is a member of the European Banking Federation’s Financial Education platform and participates in the Business and Human Rights Working Group at Luxembourg’s Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs. She also sits on the Board of the Inclusive Finance Network Luxembourg (InFiNe) and contributes to the Gender Finance Task Force – Education Working Group at the Ministry of Finance.

Sarah Odru
Head of Member Relations
Sarah Odru joined the ABBL in 2014 in the Communication & Press Relations department. From September 2018 to January 2020, Sarah was in charge of the Marketing & Business Development activities of the ABBL.
Sarah worked previously in the investment funds’ industry focusing on real estate at BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management in Luxembourg, where she held the position of Marketing/Communication Manager and Business Development support. She worked before at the Luxembourg Ministry of Economy on digital projects.
Sarah studied Politics and Economy and holds a Master’s degree in European Governance (EU Law & Politics, Lobbying) delivered by Sciences Po Grenoble (France).
Laurence d’Haeyere
Digital Marketing Specialist
Laurence D’haeyere joined the ABBL in June 2020 as a digital marketing specialist. She is in charge of developing the ABBL’s online presence through the development of digital solutions and the ABBL’s digital channels.
Laurence holds a Master’s degree in French and Romance languages and literatures. She has specialised in digital, notably through several years of experience in web agencies and has worked for 4 years in the digital marketing department of a bank in Luxembourg.

Annick Rollinger
Assistant - Secretariat
Annick Rollinger joined the ABBL in 2015. Previously, Annick worked at Société Générale Luxembourg as a Private Banking Assistant and P.A. to the Director of PB and Asset Engineering.
Annick studied Literature and obtained a degree from the University of Metz (France) and a BTS in Management Assistant from the Ecole de Commerce et de Gestion de Luxembourg.

Antoine Kremer
Head of European Affairs
Antoine Kremer is responsible for European affairs at the ABBL, which he joined in 2006.
He currently heads the representative office of the ABBL, ALFI and ACA in Brussels. In this capacity, he is responsible for representing these three associations towards the European institutions.
Antoine holds a degree in International Affairs from the University of Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) and a Master in European Legal Affairs from the European Institute of Public Affairs.
Antoine has professional experience with several European institutions.
Xavier Bové
Adviser - European Affairs
Before joining the ABBL in October 2022, Xavier Bové worked at the Public Affairs consulting firm FleishmanHillard as an Account Manager in the Financial Services practice where he assisted a broad range of market leading clients with their public affairs strategy.
Xavier holds a master’s degree in Political Economy from the London School of Economics and a bachelor’s degree from the Grenoble Graduate School of Business.
Chiara Chiodo

Chiara Chiodo began her career in European Affairs in 2021. She previously worked in the financial sector, focusing on banking and institutional investor-related topics in her roles as a consultant and analyst. She gained first-hand experience in the EU legislative process during her time as a Schuman Trainee at the European Parliament and later as a Regulatory Policy Advisor at EFAMA.
Chiara holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration and specialised in International Relations and European Affairs at the University of Pavia and Sciences Po Lille.

Myriam Sibenaler
Head of Human Resources
Myriam Sibenaler joined the ABBL in 2004, starting in the Social Affairs and Employer Representation Department. After nearly a decade of involvement in labor relations and social dialogue, she took on a new challenge in 2013 by creating and leading the Human Resources Department at the ABBL. Over the years, she played a key role in shaping the organization’s HR strategy while continuing to actively participate in the negotiation of collective bargaining agreement for bank employees.
Sophie Poekes
Assistant
Sophie Poekes joined the ABBL in 2008 in the Secretariat department, where she assists members and contributes to the ABBL’s activities.
Sophie holds a degree in translation (English-German) from the Institut Libre Marie Haps in Brussels. She then graduated in Executive Secretarial Studies from the Haute Ecole Robert Schuman in Libramont. Before joining the ABBL, Sophie worked for 3 years at PwC Luxembourg as an assistant.

Paul Wilwertz
Head of Communication
Before joining the ABBL in October 2022, Paul Wilwertz was Head of Communications at the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) from 2019 to 2022. As an independent communications advisor, he accompanied a political party during the 2018 legislative and 2019 European elections. Previously, he was Head of Public Relations at Banque de Luxembourg from 2000 to 2018, working on all matters relating to the Bank’s image and helping to develop its CSR policy, as well as advisory services in philanthropy and the transfer of family businesses.
Paul Wilwertz began his career in Parisian communications agencies (Havas, Burson-Marsteller). He holds a master degree in History (Université Marc Bloch Strasbourg), as wel as post-master degrees in International Relations (IEP Strasbourg) and Public Affairs (Institut Catholique de Paris).

Marilyn Rinck
Head of Banking Regulation, Financial Markets and Sustainability
With 20 years of experience in the financial sector, Marilyn Rinck has developed a strong expertise as a process assessor and implementation specialist. She has been actively involved in all major regulatory changes over the last decade, and has been responsible for the implementation and supervision of the European regulations PRIIPS, MIFID II, IDD, EMIR, SFDR. Marilyn is a certified banker, she obtained her diploma in Frankfurt, Germany, at the Deutsche Bundesbank.
Marilyn Rinck joined the ABBL in October 2021 as Financial Markets Adviser, where she offered technical guidance and support to members on regulatory matters related to financial markets, investor protection, and the depositary and custody banking industry in Luxembourg. She was promoted as Head of Banking Regulation, Financial Markets and ESG in September 2025, thereby broadening her responsibilities within the association.
Thomas Collin
Adviser - ESG
Thomas Collin holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance and Economics with a specialisation in Sustainable Finance from the University of Luxembourg. He joined the ABBL in April 2021 as an intern to support the projects of the Sustainability & Conduct team. He continues his work on various topics related to corporate social responsibility, diversity and sustainable finance as Sustainability Adviser since October 2021.
Alexandre Dias
Adviser - ESG
Alexandre began his career in Luxembourg in 2015. He previously worked at KPMG, Deloitte, and Aurexia, gaining a decade of experience in the banking sector. Since 2019, he has been fully dedicated to sustainable finance and regulatory matters.
Alexandre studied economics and finance at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.

Jonathan Hug
Head of Legal, Tax and Compliance
Jonathan Hug has almost over 20 years of legal experience in the financial sector.
Jonathan holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the University of Strasbourg. He began his career in Luxembourg in 2007 in the Capital Markets and Banking Department of an international law firm, became an Avocat à la Cour, before working as in-house legal counsel for international banks established in the country.
Jonathan joined the ABBL in January 2019 as a Senior Legal Adviser. He is now Head of Legal, Tax and Compliance and has a particular focus on banking and financial law. He represents the ABBL, among others, at the Legal Committee of the European Banking Federation and the Legal Support Group of the European Payments Council.
Laétitia Carroz
Senior Adviser - Tax
Laétitia Carroz has almost over 20 years of experience in taxation and is Senior Tax Adviser at ABBL.
Since 2018, she is in charge of tax dossiers at ABBL and she is managing the ABBL Fiscal Affairs Committee and the related ABBL working groups. She is continously supporting ABBL members by contributing to the technical work on tax matters in Luxembourg. The scope of its works includes notably corporate taxation, VAT, personal income tax, investment income taxation as well as operational taxes (CRS, FATCA and other regulations related to exchange of information).
Laétitia previously worked as a tax advisor in a Big Four and in a major bank in Luxembourg. She then significantly expanded her knowledge of banking processes through a short term assignment in London focused on transfer pricing matter and through an experience as a Senior Internal Auditor at this bank located in Luxembourg.
Laétitia holds a Master’s degree in Business Law and Taxation (“DJCE”) from Jean Moulin University (France) and the Tax Diploma of the Luxembourgish Chamber of Commerce. She also obtained the “Certified Internal Auditor” certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors.
Elisabeth Franssen

Elisabeth began her career in Luxembourg in 2019. She obtained her admission to the Luxembourg Bar in the same year and started specialising in employment law in 2021. She is experienced in representing employers and their interests and enjoys guiding them through any issues they may have. Elisabeth is committed to providing a quality service and always seeks the best outcome while considering the human aspects of each situation.
Elisabeth is a board member of the Employment Law Specialists Association (ELSA) in Luxembourg
Amandine Laurent
Legal Adviser
Amandine Laurent has over 15 years of experience in financial regulation and compliance. Before joining the ABBL, she worked with major financial institutions in Luxembourg and abroad, where she contributed to both national and cross-border initiatives to combat financial crime.
At the ABBL, Amandine focuses on supporting the financial sector in navigating the evolving AML/CFT landscape, fostering dialogue with regulators and stakeholders, and strengthening public-private cooperation.

Chloé Farouault
Head of Accounting & Finance
Chloé Farouault joined the ABBL in February 2021 as Head of Accounting & Finance. She is responsible for the management of the budget and the accounting of the daily activity, as well as the respect of the accounting and fiscal standards. Chloé graduated as a chartered accountant from the University of Luxembourg, and completed her studies with a Master in Finance at Excelia Business School (La Rochelle).
Chloé worked for 5 years in an accounting firm in France and then in financial auditing in Luxembourg, and for 3 years as Chief Accountant of an industrial company in Luxembourg.

Arnaud Clément
Head of Innovation and Payments
Arnaud Clément joined the ABBL in July 2025 as Head of Payments & Innovation. He represents the association at the European Payments Council (EPC), where he contributes to shaping Europe’s payment strategy and innovation agenda.
He has more than 28 years of experience in banking technology, having held senior positions at BGL BNP Paribas, where he was CIO of Wealth Management and later IT Tribe Lead for Save & Invest. In these roles, he led major projects in payments, investments, wealth management and cloud adoption.
Arnaud has championed innovation throughout his career, driving initiatives in open finance, digital assets and sustainable IT. Deeply committed to inclusion, he actively promotes diversity in technology through mentoring and advisory roles, supporting female talent in fintech or cybersecurity.
Arnaud holds an engineering degree in Telecommunications and Computer Networks from Université Paris XIII (Institut Galilée) and completed further training at the Institut de Formation Bancaire Luxembourgeois.
Andrey Martovoy
Senior Adviser - Innovation & Digital
Andrey joined the ABBL in 2016 as a FinTech Advisor. Since February 2021, has been an adviser on Digital Strategy, FinTech and innovation, and since 2024, Andrey has been appointed as Senior Adviser – Innovation & Digital. Andrey is part of a dedicated ABBL team that supports and facilitates digital transformation, innovation, and bank-FinTech cooperation in the financial sector of Luxembourg.
At the ABBL, he coordinates the activity of the Digital Strategy Committee, FinTech and Innovation Forum, and other groups such as Tokenisation and Distributed Ledger Technology, Trust and Cybersecurity, DORA Assessment and Mutualisation, and Green ICT Adoption. He represents the ABBL at working groups of the European Banking Federation.
Andrey has Master’s degree from the University of Bologna (Italy) and a PhD degree (Ukraine). He further developed his professional skills by visiting several universities and business schools including Manchester Institute of Innovation Research (United Kingdom).
Galina Miroschnichenko
Adviser - Payments & Digital
Galina joined the ABBL in 2021 as an Adviser in the Innovation, Payments & Digital team. During the first five years of her professional career, which started in 2007 at Deloitte Luxembourg, Galina worked as an external auditor of financial institutions. Later, she joined the internal audit department of ING Luxembourg covering diverse business lines, operational processes and banking regulations. In 2018, she moved to the product management department, where she gained experience in customer needs and products development. She also worked as a project manager in the Wholesale Banking team, working, among others, on virtual cash management, e-signature, platforms and payment channels topics.
Galina holds a master degree from SKEMA Business School and the University of Lille. She is also a chartered accountant in Luxembourg (réviseur d’entreprises) and a certified internal auditor.

Paul Osezua Ighodalo
Head of Information Technology
Paul Ighodalo is a technology and business visionary with strong executive, hands-on experience in managing and automating businesses. He has a proven record of success in building robust IT platforms and delivering solutions that leverage technology to address complex business challenges while effectively managing cost and risk.
Paul is currently Head of IT at ABBL, bringing over 18 years of leadership experience in technology management across the financial services and fintech sectors. His previous roles include Head of IT at Fortuna Banque, Technology Director at Baobab Group, and Project Delivery Manager / Senior T24 Consultant at ITSS Luxembourg.
Throughout his career, Paul has led complex, high-impact projects such as the implementation of core banking platforms, digital transformation initiatives, and large-scale technology consulting engagements. His expertise spans IT strategy, digital innovation, and transformation programs that have consistently enabled organizations to improve efficiency, strengthen resilience, and unlock business value.
David De Oliveira
Adviser - Information Technology
David De Oliveira joined the ABBL in 2020 as an IT Specialist and currently serves as a Server and Infrastructure Support specialist for the ABBL. He is responsible for the administration and maintenance of servers, networks, and IT infrastructure, ensuring operational stability and security.
David manages system installations, upgrades, and patching, keeping the environment up to date and reliable. He also provides hands-on support to employees, troubleshooting technical issues to maintain productivity across the House of Finance. His role includes monitoring infrastructure performance, identifying risks, and implementing improvements to strengthen resilience. Through his expertise, David ensures that the association benefits from a stable, secure, and efficient technology foundation.
Cédric Fonseca
Officer - Information Technology
Cedric Fonseca joined the ABBL in 2021 as an IT officer, where he is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of core business applications and databases. This includes ensuring data integrity, availability, and performance across critical systems. In addition, Cedric contributes to the deployment and support of business applications, aligning them with the operational needs of ABBL.
Beyond specialist responsibilities, Cedric provides cross-functional helpdesk support, assisting employees with troubleshooting application issues and resolving day-to-day IT challenges. This combination of technical expertise and user-facing support allows Cedric to ensure that the association’s IT environment remains efficient, resilient, and user-friendly. His role directly supports both the stability of IT operations and the productivity of staff across the House of Finance.
