The Fondation ABBL pour l’Education Financière

Bringing together education and finance, the Fondation ABBL pour l’éducation financière works to promote financial knowledge as a cornerstone of personal empowerment.

The Fondation ABBL pour l’éducation financière was founded in September 2016. Its purpose is to support and promote financial education through the organisation of events, training in the field of finance and university courses via the University of Luxembourg. The Foundation’s objectives are to:

  • Raise awareness among Luxembourg citizens of the need for better financial literacy education in order to help them make more informed financial decisions;
  • Promote awareness and understanding of the banking environment among Luxembourg citizens;
  • Contribute to the process of preventing excessive debt;
  • Promote financial inclusion.

These actions are carried out through the provision of information and training.

“Empowering people through financial knowledge means giving them the tools to make better choices — for themselves, their families, and society as a whole.”
