Accounting Committee
The Accounting Committee offers technical expertise and advice to members on the implementation of relevant accounting standards and represents them before national and international authorities on related matters.
In addition, it serves as a platform for CFOs and Heads of Accounting to share practical guidelines and best practices on emerging strategic priorities for financial functions, including the complexity of regulatory reporting, data availability challenges, the growing importance of partnering with risk and business functions, and the integration and digitalisation of financial processes.
Scope
The Accounting Committee covers the accounting standards applicable to banks, both at national level (the Luxembourg GAAPs) and at international level (the IFRS).
