Innovation Cluster
Innovation is reshaping how financial institutions operate, connect with clients, meet regulatory obligations, and manage infrastructure. At the ABBL, innovation is not just a trend—it is a strategic priority.
While the ABBL already leverages deep technical expertise through its Digital Strategy Committee, FinTech & Innovation Forum, and dedicated working groups on topics like AI, tokenisation, DLT, and cybersecurity, we identified the need for a high-level, cross-cutting platform to set clear priorities and better coordinate innovation efforts across the industry.
The ABBL Strategic Innovation Council is here to:
- Lead strategic innovation initiativesand define common sector priorities.
- Foster collaborationon key topics such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital identity, open finance, and more.
- Support national and EU digital transformation agendas, including Luxembourg’s 2025–2030 roadmap, LHoFT innovation programmes, and the work of the HCPF Digital Finance Working Group, HCPN, and the EBF ExCo Tech Group.
