[Talent Focus] On the ground: ABBL in action to connect with the next generation of talent
Published on 01 July 2025
Attracting and developing talent is more than a strategic priority: it’s a long-term commitment. In an increasingly competitive labour market, ABBL is stepping up its efforts to support both its members and the broader Luxembourg financial ecosystem. Through targeted outreach, new digital platforms and direct engagement with young professionals, we are working to ensure that the Luxembourg banking sector remains visible, attractive and accessible to current and future talent.
Summary
A new careers platform to support visibility
To provide a central point of reference for jobseekers, ABBL has launched a dedicated careers section on its website. This space allows member institutions to publish job offers and internship opportunities, showcasing the variety of roles available across Luxembourg’s financial sector.
Explore the section here:

In parallel, the ABBL Spotlight newsletter now offers another powerful tool to promote vacancies directly to our extended professional network. By combining a centralised platform with targeted distribution, this dual approach enhances both reach and relevance in supporting recruitment efforts.

ABBL members wishing to feature job offers through either channel are warmly invited to contact the Member Relations team at member-relations@abbl.lu.
Meeting talent where it is: ABBL’s field presence
Promoting career opportunities goes well beyond messaging — it requires direct connection with young professionals in the spaces they occupy. That’s why ABBL is actively present on the ground, both in Luxembourg and abroad, to promote the diversity and relevance of careers in banking.
We participate in job fairs, university events, and international roadshows, engaging directly with students and graduates to discuss careers in sustainable finance, compliance, innovation, data, and more. These interactions are vital to convey the dynamism of Luxembourg’s banking sector and to inspire the next generation to consider their future here.
From Paris to Leuven, from Warsaw to Moovijob Day, each mission has been an opportunity to build bridges between the industry and academic communities. ABBL is committed to continuing these efforts — and expanding them.
An open invitation to our members
These initiatives only succeed through collaboration. We warmly encourage all ABBL members to:
- Join us at upcoming career events and roadshows
- Support outreach efforts by opening doors to new universities and institutions
- Share insights and materials that can help present a strong and diverse image of the sector
Together, we can ensure that the banking industry not only attracts, but also retains and develops the people it needs to thrive in the years ahead.
